sacai and Gloverall team up for an outerwear capsule collection
sacai has teamed up with the traditional British brand Gloverall to create a Winter-based outerwear collection that was first released at their Lane Crawford pop up store a few weeks ago.
Gloverall, founded in 1951, is a label famous for its handcrafted duffle coats for both men and women. For the Autumn/Winter ‘18 season, Chitose Abe and sacai adds its signature hybrid twist to a long coat and an MA-1 jacket, combining an unexpected texture to new silhouettes and forms. The traditional duffle coat is combined with voluminous features from the down jacket with a bright green colorway combined with the beige. A navy/black version will also be available for those looking for something less loud. In the MA-1 jacket, features from a wool hooded jacket is integrated into the bomber form resulting in a unique silhouette.
Each jacket comes in two colorways, and all models will be available at sacai stores starting December 22.
