Since 1989, Monitaly has been consistently reinventing classic American silhouettes, honoring the heritage of the skilled artisans who came before while creating innovative products that age beautifully for tomorrow. Their Spring/Summer 2019 collection continues this philosophy as they elevate workwear and military-influenced pieces alongside bright, bold patterns and graphics fitting for the warmer seasons.
Focusing on olive, khaki, and navy colorways, Monitaly maintains its signature draped silhouettes among outerwear pieces such as the Military Smock and Voguar Coat. The layering Cincho Vest returns in an multiple colorways but is also revamped with patchwork and Navajo patterns to the front panel. To brighten the collection, pocket tees and crewneck sweaters are printed with 60-70’s rock-n-roll concert posters found in designer Yuki Matsuda’s home. Additionally, floral patterns on the Hawaiian-inspired Weekend Shirt and bright-orange camo patterns on the Short Sleeve Zip Neck Pullover can be paired with their Drop Crotch Shorts for a relaxed, Summer vibe.
