WILD THINGS Spring/Summer '19

WILD THINGS Spring/Summer '19

Japanese label Wild Things forgoes its usual black-dress, technical conventions for a small yet refined set of warm weather ready garments. Earth tones, loose cuts, and some sportswear influence compile for an SS19 range that shines in simplicity.

The first of the set — and surely the most standout in its cut — is the beautifully oversized, aptly named Monster Parka, as it towards above its compatriots in a connect palette of earth tones. Slit pockets sit across its torso construction with squared branded print sporting the brand’s name in its elegant typography. Both the Happy and Light Denali Jacket approach a different subset of outerwear, breathing in inspiration from the performance scene in more traditional templates as well as ski reminiscent color blocking, respectively. Bottoms follow suit in their enduring material choice, adding quite a bit of playfulness in the shorts variety.
