ORBITGear and LIVINGBONE Create Utility with Their Season-less Capsule
Usually confined to one set season, the collections of close friends and recent collaborators ORBITGear and LIVINGBONE are surprisingly not Autumn/Winter and not Spring/Summer — rather, they are both none and all of the above.
Garments beam in their choice of enduring fabrications, either incorporating the notorious XPac, elecorSHIELD, or etaPROOF. Each piece holds immeasurable wealth in their possibilities, going against the grain of their seemingly simplistic constructions. Overcoats, which seem only as such, can be shortened at the hem for a traditional double-zip blouson complete with a stash-away hood. Two other outerwear ensembles, which closely resemble traditional mountain parkas, are done up futuristic in their total design, fastened by YKK and embellished by Fidlock buckles and inner carrying straps. Pants zip across all sorts of ways, allowing for added ventilation or completely removing segments of the entire leg, while the breadth of bags — which show up in three different variations — do the same though in the militaristic MOLLE webbing.
