MADNESS Autumn/Winter '19

MADNESS, though only one branch of a much larger story, continues to pick up the pace at the tail end of 2019, dishing out collaborations frequent and an upcoming AW19 collection expansive. Jam packed with variety, the range is a sort of refinement of their seasoned aesthetics, toeing the line between enduring workwear and militaria.

Somewhat barren of any vibrant colors -- save for a small touch of salmon pink -- the palettes are almost entirely filled to the brim in earth tones: a fitting choice for a set piece done up with western vibes and slight engineer themes. Time-enduring staples a la coveralls and Type 1 truckers take up materials more interesting as the latter dons a corduroy make-up and the former a choice between faded denims and a strikingly distressed canvas upper. Pants match in finish though with a slight bit more leeway in terms of styling, still pairing quite well with the series of more militaristic alignment. M-65 Fatigue jackets arrive slightly cropped in their body while still boasting its many iconic accents, with much of the rest more so playing up the utility of their respective templates, giving a bountiful arrangement of compartments to overcoats, short-sleeve and long-sleeve BDUs, as well as a similarly styled vest. Liner jackets follow slightly in tow, though with a two pocket construction keeping it from entering maximal territory.

Grab a detailed look at all that and more right below and expect the first drop to go live at MADNESS’ site on September 21st.
