Danner Teams Up with WIND AND SEA for a Head-to-Toe Capsule Collection
WIND AND SEA, founded by Takashi Kumagai in 2018, is a culmination of his Kumagai’s multi-disciplinary approach to styling, branding and designing. The skateboard brand combines their simple design and vivid colors in their latest collaborative effort with heritage boot company Danner for a multi-piece capsule.
Their latest collaboration is a combination of heavy-duty outerwear such as coats and mountain parkas alongside outdoor-ready pants. The main product of the capsule is the Liner Detachable 3WAY Mod Coat, a 3-way crafted with an outer DANNER® DRY specification, which is used for Danner boots. The waterproof yet breathable jacket includes a removable POLARTEC® Alpha® liner for modularity and versatility while multiple pockets on the chest, waist, and sleeves provide ample storage and small pockets. The Danner Light Pants utilize a material that sustainable and hard to wrinkle with multiple functional features such as zippered hems and compatible with their latest boot model. The collaborative shoe features paneled uppers, “SEA” branding on the neon laces, and a co-branded tongue. Accompanying the capsule is multiple essentials such as sweaters, hoodies, tees, and headwear.
