LITTLEBIG Autumn/Winter '20
Relatively bereft of common and contemporary design language, LITTLEBIG captures the essence of retro style with its brief but considered range of looks. Each, with their undying preference for color and an oversized cut, individually signs off on a love letter made specially for the Autumn/Winter ‘20 season.
As the odd tailored jacket has become the label’s signature, suiting fills up a great deal of the pages -- blazers, overcoats, pleated slacks, and anything related arriving in a diverse range of materials and hues. Vibrant, loud, nearly pearlescent purples are among the most notable in terms of the latter, setting themselves apart against palettes of rust, dark burgundy, bright yellow and much more. Taken to the velvets of the wide shoulder jacket or the much more versatile wools of the double-breasted alternate, these very shades act as a microphone for high quality constructions whose allure is likely much more apparent once viewed in person. Moreover, to catch the eye a bit more aggressively, the Keita Mawatari led label has also incorporated leather jackets replete with shiny metallic hardware, trenches nearly perverse in nature, track jackets of bold, sportswear-influenced color blocking, Western tops bibbed with fringe detailing, and plenty other garments.
