Yeti Japan Spring/Summer '20

Yeti Japan Spring/Summer '20

Since 1983, outdoors purveyor Yeti has been crafting some of the strongest gear from sleeping bags to a full range of apparel, bringing Germany-made construction to a vast spectrum of audiences. But while clothing is still of utmost focus for the global team, they barely hold a candle to the label’s Japanese outpost. Now on their Spring/Summer ‘20 collection, the localized branch is bringing to the table a series of graphic tops, everyday essentials, and the all-encompassing wet weather parka.

Of many a standout, the latter is certainly the most universal, with its traditional mountain parka style sure to attune to the taste of many an avid enthusiast. Replete with its two-toned color blocking -- seen here in tan with black accents -- the garment strikes a balance amongst the accompanying outerwear signatures: black-dressed anoraks, similarly fabricated long coats, and even an incredibly oversized poncho. Elsewhere, loose short-sleeve tops, relatively standard oxfords, likely weather-resistant rugby shirts make up a more understated variety, though many mark with branded badges at their arms or text-driven logos along their entire back. Finished by accessories from sacoche bags to protective caps, the collection is a welcome deterrent to Spring showers.
