Hideaki Shikama’s Children of the Discordance reveals its Autumn/Winter ‘20 collection entitled “Dawn” as a part of Milan’s Digital Fashion Week.
To showcase his latest collection, Shikama invited Japanese hip-hop artists Hideyoshi and Ralph to perform in a video where both can be seen decked out in the label’s AW21 pieces. The collection itself is spearheaded by an old British Navy inspired smock featuring a uniquely dyed pattern alongside a colourful version of its Bandana Mil Down Jacket. Moreover you’ll find embroidered denim jackets and nordic inspired knitwear as well as bondage trousers and cargo pants, all showcased alongside the distinguishable jewellery from Natural Instinct.
On why the designer choose “dawn” as the title of the collection, Hideaki said “I wanted to name this collection dawn, as I feel that bad things will eventually be over and that there will always be a morning after the night. I also feel this collection somehow represents a new beginning for Child of the discordance.”
