Norse Projects Develops a GORE-TEX Uniform for the Technicians of the Tundra Ecology Lab
In an attempt to further understand the effects of climate change, Norse Projects followed the team at The Tundra Ecology Lab on their latest expedition to Alexandra Fiord on the east coast of Ellesmere Island, Canada’s northernmost arctic island. Given the inclement conditions on the island, Norse Projects kitted out the technicians in GORE-TEX clad outerwear.
As a part of their Autumn/Winter ‘21 campaign, Norse Projects has released a number of GORE-TEX outerwear styles that form the basis of the team’s utility-driven wardrobe. To ensure maximum protection against the elements, a carefully constructed layered outfit was put together to shield technicians from total wind, rain and snow. The resulting styles include the Nunk Down and Rokkvi 5.0 that incorporate the latest in GORE-TEX technology that combines full protection and comfort.
