F/CE. × ASICS × COSTS Draw Inspiration from Earth Tones for the GEL-Trabuco 9
F/CE. and COSTS tap inspiration from earth tones and rugged terrains for their ASICS collaboration of the all-around GEL-Trabuco 9 trail running shoe.
Drawing from the contours of Reinan architecture, the GEL-Trabuco 9 has been upgraded with F/CE.'S iconic outdoor performance elements while the color palette is based on sand colors that reflect traditional Lingnan architecture. The paneling details feature contrasting shades of orange that are also accented on the inner lining and mid sole, and bold blues add a pop of color to the outer sole. The shoe is complemented with a GORE-TEX upper that keeps your feet dry even in damp environments or rain weathers that are prevalent in southern China. Boasting both form and function, the cushioning of ASIC’s GEL technology on the heel is combined with the FLYTEFOAM midsole material to provide excellent comfort while the sturdy outer sole pattern uses ASICSGRIP rubber for grip on slippery terrain. Lastly, the regular laces are replaced with the adaptable and easy to use quick lace system.
The triple collaboration GEL-Trabuco 9 by F/CE., ASICS, and COSTS in China will be released on June 18th.
