HH-118389225 Unveils its Spring/Summer '22 Collection Inspired by their Deep Archive
Still keeping their foot fully dipped in technical sailing apparel, HH-118389225 simultaneously looks to the mountains for the inspiration behind their Spring/Summer ‘22 collection.
Capsule ‘221’ or Spring/Summer ‘22 delves deep into Helly Hansen’s 140-year archive and borrows specific technical details and individual cues from the brands technically-driven pieces. Once again, the ‘ÆGIR’ Offshore Collection remains a focal point for HH-118389225 to look towards as its core components form the foundation of 221: professional-grade technologies and fabrications combined with modular concepts of design. However, with such a specific purpose in mind, HH-118389225-221 has been brought up to a more modern, urban style through a refined colour palette and visual aesthetic.
The Spring/Summer ‘22 range consists of storm-ready outerwear, bottoms, tees, hoodies, headwear and bags all of which embody design characteristics synonymous with the range. As outerwear is often the immediate draw for people, the ‘HH Arc 3L Modular Coat’ is a full-length modular outerwear system that can be worn in three ways. The coat is constructed using the pinnacle of Helly Hansen waterproof technology, HELLY TECH®, in the form of 3L fabrication with the addition of interchangeable spray hoods, raised cowl collar, removable panels and gilet. Given the unpredictability of the weather in urban areas during Spring and Summer, a coat that can be worn in multiple ways is a must; from dual zippers for increased airflow to waterproof exteriors which shield the wearer. Pops of colour are clear throughout in the form of soft pinks that add an extra element to the pieces.
A testament to Helly Hansen’s willingness to drive forwards and push boundaries, HH-118389225-221 is 100% PFC-free.
The collection will be available from select stockists in February 2022.
