ROA Hiking Explores the Hybrid Landscape Through 'Cave' Drop

With the launch of their new e-commerce platform, ROA has released a commemorative capsule release titled ‘Cave’ that explores the pierced and sunken depths of the landscapes beneath our feet.

As each collection passes, ROA continues to delve deeper into their expedition of the hybrid landscape, developing a durable product that can seamlessly coexist between both urban and rural environments. The ‘Cave’ drop consists of two footwear styles including some iconic carryovers that have undergone slight modifications and a new silhouette for ROA dubbed the ‘Katharina’. With a number of their model’s given humanlike names, the ‘Katharina’ is ROA’s take on a classic approach shoe; crafted in Italy, it features a signature Vibram Megagrip tooth patterned tread that ensures traction on rough surfaces. There is a choice of two fabrications and materials on offer including green technical nylon and a brown-haired suede. Finishing touches come in the way of metal eyelets, ROA branding and heel pull tab. Joining the drop is ROA’s archetypal ‘Andreas’ model which the brand is famed for - a vintage hiking-inspired silhouette designed for the outdoors. It utilises the same Vibram Megagrip sole, ROA branding and metal eyelets as the Katharina but is available in either suede or a combination of Cordura nylon/suede.

Available now from ROA’s online store.
