phenix Debuts 'ARCHIVAL RESEARCH' Diffusion Line
Fusing fashion and sports, phenix has debuted its ‘ARCHIVAL RESEARCH’ label which is designed to alleviate the wearer of any stresses they face on the mountain without them looking out of a place going about their daily life in town.
Acknowledging that this mission has been flagged before, ARCHIVAL RESEARCH is aiming for a clean fifty-fifty balance between form and function by combining technical fabrics with uplifting, everyday silhouettes. As phenix approaches 70 years in business, they looked back on some of the past designs of the brand and handpicked those that stood out to them and decided how they could reinvent them using materials and detailing, thus delivering the Authentic Ski Jacket, Authentic Ski Sweater, Authentic Training Jacket, Cap, 2L Ski Trousers and Training Pants. One of our highlights includes the Authentic Training Jacket which features interesting panelling and is made using a water-repellent light and stretchy nylon - it can also be paired with the Training Pants for a cohesive look. Each garment from the capsule features subtle technical details that don’t look out of place in a functional or fashion setting, such as thumbholes, dual-zippers and interior security pockets.
ARCHIVAL RESEARCH will release on the 3rd of November from L’ECHOPPE and then will go on general sale on the 11th.
