AURALEE Remasters Iconic New Balance Garments in Latest Capsule
For the second time, AURALEE and New Balance TDS have collaborated on the NB Archive apparel line, drawing on silhouettes from the past and remastering them.
Tasked with elevating archive sportswear garments to a level that is unfathomable without AURALEE’s guise, the pair have unveiled a capsule that consists of 5 apparel styles: a Nylon Half-Zip, Nylon Pants, Fleece 1/4 Zip Top, Fleece Pants and Long Sleeve Tee. Despite using vintage styles as a reference, they have updated them using modern fabrics like wrinkle-resistant nylon and highly stretchable recycled polyester, as well as fitting them upgraded hardware in the form of metal zippers and drawcords with wooden stoppers. Despite their sportswear roots, the garments still fit seamlessly into AURALEE’s universe, thanks to their design input.
