Marmot Anounces Diffusion Line 'Marmot Capital' to Debut in Autumn/Winter '23
Headed up by Kikuno Kiki of PURPLE THINGS, Marmot has unveiled a new sub-line that is set to debut in Autumn/Winter ‘23, Marmot Capital.
While clinging onto its traditional outdoor roots, Marmot Capital is set to head in a slightly different direction to its parent brand with the aim of seamlessly blending cues from outdoor and street styles. Designed specifically for Autumn/Winter, the range encompasses a myriad of outerwear styles, as you would expect from a Marmot line, including fleece zip-ups, half-zip down pullovers and cropped shell jackets. In addition, the range consists of fleece headwear styles and voluminous trouser silhouettes. As it has set out to do in its mission statement, Marmot Capital borrows technical outdoor fabrications like Pertex and GORE-TEX and infuses them into new-age silhouettes. Where colours are concerned, all traditions have been abandoned in place of loud pops of magenta, washed blues and rainbow-esque schemes which sit alongside the occasional black and grey garment.
