Oakley Factory Team and Brain Dead Make Their Eyewear Debut in ‘Rare Metals’ Project
Since establishing their collaborative partnership in footwear, Oakley Factory Team and Brain Dead are set to leave their imprint on the eyewear market with the impending release of the Plazma and Radar EV Path models.
Experimenting with the cross-section between art, design and functionality, the result of this collaboration is an imaginative view of this joint universe, one that distils contemporary Oakley silhouettes through a Brain Dead lens. Moulded by their shared desire to create products for a more interesting tomorrow, the capsule sees the pair produce four exclusive styles of sunglasses that mirror the identity of Brain Dead and Oakley. With neither party one to stray away from utilising bold colours, rich greens and oranges are paramount to the designs as well as PrizmTM Lens Technology which offers a complimentary sci-fi edge to the structure of the frames.
