J EONGL I and Obscura Store Release Limited Capsule Collection

Ahead of J EONGL I’s highly anticipated debut Autumn/Winter ‘23 collection which is due to be released later in the year, the South Korean designer has developed a capsule collection for Seoul-based boutique, Obscura Store.

As a part of its newly launched project called ‘UN;SEEN to SEEN’ it aims to bring new light to a diverse range of global brands, the first of which being J EONGL I in the form of a concise capsule consisting of two colourways of the Softshell Trousers and Coating Nylon Jacket. Adhering to the brand’s signature style, the jacket takes on an alluring design with a two-tone colour scheme, finished with technical details such as thumbholes, hidden pockets and an adjustable hem. To complement the jacket, the Softshell Trousers feature a similar colour arrangement while adopting a slouchy and relaxed silhouette that is still somewhat technical. The set is available in either Grey or Khaki.

Bringing a third dimension to the collaboration and increasing its physicality, Obscura Store hosted a two-day pop-up over the past weekend which gave customers exclusive access to J EONGL I’s products and appreciation of the brand’s technical nature and craftsmanship in person.
