UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS. Previews its Autumn/Winter '23 Collection
The Japanese label, UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS., which operates under the 1LDK umbrella, has previewed its Autumn/Winter ‘23 collection.
Based on the idea of creating high-quality garments regardless of age, gender, season or trend, UNIVERSAL PRODUCTS. lives up to its name and doesn’t fall victim to the fluctuations of the fashion industry. Instead, it stays in its own lane, assisting followers of the brand in their aims to create a year-round capsule wardrobe.
Abiding by its core ethos, Autumn/Winter ‘23 is a case study example of this, promising a healthy dose of outerwear, bottoms, knitwear, tops and shirting that can be worn without effort on a daily basis, seeking inspiration from a myriad of familiar places: workwear, military clothing, vintage outdoors and the sort. As usual, the breadth of product is a sight to behold, with styles like the Allied 2-Layer Down Jacket in Icicle, Jacquard Check Cardigan and the Ombre Jacket and Trousers two-piece taking centre-stage, fighting off those that follow in their wake. Each piece is delivered in a characteristic oversized fit.
Given the versatility of its wares, the lookbook carefully captures the breadth of design, from insulated down jackets to oversized knitwear which all sit next to one another in unison.
