MIZUNO and Margarett Howell Further Their Collaborative Pursuit with Apparel Capsule
Off the back of the Pull-On Walking Shoes they released in July, MIZUNO and Margaret Howell have furthered their collaborative partnership to include a concise apparel capsule.
Designed to be used throughout the upcoming Autumn/Winter season, the capsule consists of three items: the Poplin Tote Bag, Scarf and Down Vest. Taking on a minimal aesthetic, each garment incorporates some kind of technical material whether it’s lightweight nylon, down for insulation or a water-repellent exterior which heightens their use on a day-to-day use.
The Down Vest is the singular outerwear style in the capsule. Insulated using a combination of 90% down and 10% feathers, it takes on a boxy silhouette with a snap-closure centre placket. There are two side-access pockets with zipper closure so you can safely store your belongings. The Scarf and Tote Bag are both made using a lightweight nylon fabric with a matte texture that is also water-repellent. The Tote Bag features printed collaborative branding on the side, a zipper-closure main compartment and an external carry loop for attaching your keys onto, for example. The Scarf features lightweight insulation which means it keeps your neck warm.
