Jah Jah and Salomon Reunite to Update the ACS Pro
After a minimal F+F release earlier in the year, Jah Jah and Salomon have reunited to update the ACS Pro for Autumn/Winter ‘23.
This collaborative version of the ACS Pro features all of the customary details that we associate with the silhouette, including the Agile Chassis System, Contagrip outsole and a QuickLace system for easier access. The shoe takes form in deep shades of chocolate brown and black with hits of red and yellow on the tongue.
The campaign explores the myths and traditions of West Africa and brings them to life, revisiting the mythical tale of the ‘Kankourang’ - a cultural and spiritual figure found mainly in Casamanca, a region in Senegal whose purpose is to maintain social order and preserve community unity by acting as a guardian of ancestral customs and traditions. This collaboration goes beyond product, acting as a celebration of African and Caribbean communities and their culture.
