SAGE NATION Previews Autumn/Winter '24 Collection

Set to release in the latter half of the year, SAGE NATION’s Autumn/Winter ‘24 collection serves as a further building block in the brand’s study of uniforms.

The ensemble is guided by design codes borrowed from driving and biking culture, juxtaposed with signature workwear and military staples that are re-visited using updated materials and silhouettes. As we have seen from previous output, SAGE NATION continues to explore the unique fusion of Japanese and British culture which manifests in the fabrics used throughout Autumn/Winter ‘24, namely a vibrant red Yorkshire melton wool that is contrasted by more muted Japanese indigo dyed fabric. In addition to this, Sage continues to utilise the Japanese concept of ‘The Power of Five’ when it comes to determining its colour palette, incorporating organic shades of green and brown alongside navy, red and white.

Overall, the collection comprises a hearty balance of outerwear, shirting, bottoms, knitwear, accessories and more that are guided by SAGE NATION’s fascination with conflicting cultures, while leaning on a newfound source of inspiration: driving and biking culture. While subtle, the parallels between the latter and the garments can be seen in the gloves, for one, and the H1 Jacket, a new style for Autumn/Winter which is made from a Yorkshire melton wool, abstaining from the traditional use of leather in replace for a red check wool.
