The 'PORTER GRIZZLY BEAR' Makes a Return

After its success in 2021, PORTER has released another iteration of its ‘PORTER GRIZZLY BEAR’, this time using its signature sage green ‘TANKER’ fabric.

Priding itself on domestic production, the entire design process behind the bear from concept to sewing takes place in Japan using quality materials and hardware. Unlike teddy bears from the 1970s onwards, the ‘PORTER GRIZZLY BEAR’ uses glass eyes, as opposed to plastic, which was common practice between the 1940s and 1960s and a signifier of craftsmanship. The bear is made using PORTER’s signature sage green ‘TANKER’ fabric and its paws are orange. Finishing touches include a brass chain and padlock and a woven PORTER patch on the foot.
