nonnative Continues to Re-Work Signature WILD THINGS Outerwear Styles in Eighth Capsule
Linking up for their eighth collaboration, nonnative and WILD THINGS add another style to their product lineup: the Monster Parka, which will be released alongside the Denali Jacket.
Going back, nonnative and WILD THINGS consistently used the Denali Jacket as their chosen collaborative silhouette until now, with the introduction of the Monster Parka, another case study of when signature design flair meets military-inspired outerwear. The Monster Parka is based on WILD THINGS ‘MONSTER PARKA TYPE2’, but it has been adjusted using functions and patterns synonymous with nonnative while retaining its original character, such as the stand collar, front zipper, storm placket and drawcord adjustability on both sides. Similarly, the Denali Jacket appears subtle and innocuous, holding onto its necessary technical features like the adjustable hood, Velcro cuffs and two front pockets. Both styles utilise a 2-layer GORE-TEX membrane, providing essential weatherproofing through Autumn/Winter without compromising breathability. The colourways have been carefully selected to cooperate with nonnative’s seasonal colour palette, embracing a muted clay red, sand, black and pale green.
