The North Face Purple Label's Third Upcycling Project

The North Face Purple Label's Third Upcycling Project

The North Face Purple Label, a Japanese exclusive diffusion line, has released the third instalment of its upcycling project.

This recently launched initiative aims to produce items inspired by The North Face’s archives using fabric and materials left over from the production process. In this instance, Purple Label has created two items, the Field Reversible Jacket and Field Pants, utilising a blend of materials. The Reversible Field Jacket features 65/35 Bayhead duck cloth on one side and POLARTEC fleece on the other to create a reversible design. Contrastingly, the Field Pants adhere to a patchwork-like design using a houndstooth-patterned POLARTEC fleece as the primary material, whereas areas that are prone to chafing, such as the hips, are reinforced using core yarn chino cloth.
