The GEL-LOKROS™ by ASICS, Kiko Kostadinov and HEAVEN by MARC JACOBS
The product of a three-way collaboration between ASICS, Kiko Kostadinov and HEAVEN by MARC JACOBS, the GEL-LOKROS™ was released yesterday to the eager delight of Kiko’s cult followers.
The GEL-LOKROS™ is an evolution of the GEL-KIRIL™ silhouette developed by ASICS and Kiko Kostadinov which borrows design elements from the designer's Mary Jane model. The upper of the GEL-LOKROS™ comprises a star-quilted design, scratched metallic panelling and shimmer gel which sits atop a performance outsole while a floral toe box hugs the front of the shoe. Buckle and elastic fastenings replace the traditional lacing system to add to the chaos of the shoe. The GEL-LOKROS™ was released in three colourways: Lilac, Deep Charcoal and Faded Blue.
