ROA and Ostrya Re-Work Signature Items
ROA and Ostrya find a common ground between form and function in their debut collaboration, drafting in ROA’s signature Katharina approach shoe and Ostrya’s Caledonia Hiking Pants as their canvas of choice.
The fruits of their collaboration are designed as functional pieces to cater for the wearer in navigating through various landscapes, transitioning seamlessly among them. The Katharina, for example, blends the characteristics of an approach shoe with those of a modern athletic shoe, featuring a natural-inspired colourway and a specially tooled Vibram outsole for added grip across outdoor and city landscapes. Rounding off the two-piece capsule are the Caledonia Hiking Pants that derive inspiration from classic mountaineering and climbing silhouettes, reworked using lightweight cotton canvas and Japanese ripstop and featuring articulated knees for easier movement.
