meanswhile Re-Works Danner's 'Pittock Gurkha' Sandal

meanswhile Re-Works Danner's 'Pittock Gurkha' Sandal

meanswhile and Danner continue their collaborative partnership into Spring/Summer ‘24, this time applying their shared vision to the ‘Pittock Gurkha’ sandals.

Borrowing its name from Pittock Mansion, a historical home in Danner’s home city of Portland, Oregon, the Pittock Gurkha sandal is an iconic silhouette of theirs that meanswhile has left its mark on. The upper is crafted using cowhide leather with a unique grain texture and the interior lining is made from highly absorbent and abrasion-resistant pigskin leather. The main changes come in the form of a zig-zag upper, a characteristic feature of the Japanese label’s outerwear, a chunkier, elevated midsole and a Vibram footbed for increased traction. Finishing touches include collaborative branding on the heel and interior. The sandal is available in two colourways: Black and Nume.
