A Closer Look at the Leather Tech Mönch 1 by Drei Berge
The Parisian retailer A YOUNG HIKER is tackling the outdoor retail space head-on by putting a nouveau twist on the typically drab and serious market.
With its external offering thriving, A YOUNG HIKER founder, Ramdane Touhami has turned his focus inwards and launched the in-house label, ‘Drei Berge’. Alongside a series of accessories, one of its first product releases is the Leather Tech Mönch 1 mountain boot, which borrows familiar design cues from traditional hiking boots.
Instead of using synthetic materials, which is often typical of outdoor brands, Drei Berge takes a more nature-focused approach, using premium leather cowhide throughout the upper and interior. A natural rubber Vibram outsole aligns with the conscientious angle while providing unparalleled traction on unstable surfaces. Some finishing touches include a padded collar, firm heel counter, padded inner heel support, ultra-resistant cotton laces and a back tongue for easier access. From the metal eyelets to the pebbled grain leather upper, every detail is highly considered and accounted for.
The Leather Tech Mönch 1 is available in three bold, eye-catching colourways: Green, Pink or Orange.
