Unowned Spaces, an online platform built around cutting-edge design and diverse global cultures, has released its latest collaboration with Hanwag: a revised version of the iconic Hanwag boot, the ‘Bergler’, which celebrates the ever-evolving synergy between tradition and modernity.
Kicking off a series of partnerships for Autumn/Winter, this collaboration seamlessly blends forward-thinking creativity with a traditionalist approach to design, anchored by Hanwag’s 100-year legacy. To authentically capture the fruits of their collaboration, the campaign was shot in Bavaria, an integral place to the Hanwag story, against a fitting backdrop defined by vibrant wildlife and green landscapes.
Widely known for its unmatched durability and revered craftsmanship, the Bergler UOS has been crafted from robust suede leather comprising olive, grey and black panels, offering a striking look without compromising the boot’s longevity. Inside, the boot features a chrome-free, tanned, anti-allergic leather lining, providing a comfortable and healthy foot climate. This sits atop a sturdy Vibram Tessin wedge sole with a durable, deep-lugged tread pattern that delivers excellent traction on rugged terrain.
