Berghaus’ iconic and defining Storm Jacket returns for Spring/Summer ‘25, celebrating the British label’s reputation of being at the forefront of technical excellence and innovation.

In 1997, Berghaus introduced the concept ‘Simplex’, a radical approach to outerwear informed by science and rigorous wear-testing that minimised the layers of fabric in a garment and removed any unnecessary styling. The thought process was that fewer layers led to an increasingly breathable and lightweight product while providing a degree of weatherproofing for higher-output activities by leveraging select GORE-TEX products. At the time, this set a new standard for how outerwear should look and perform, opening up form-meets-function design to the world.

Now, nearly three decades later, Berghaus stays true to its function-first ethos by bringing the Storm Jacket back for Spring/Summer ‘25 with a renewed purpose: a lightweight and high-performing jacket for the modern explorer traversing outdoor and urban environments. While keeping one eye on the original, the Storm Jacket is engineered using modern materials and techniques, allowing for enhanced movement and adjustability on the move - a touch above its predecessor. Championing Berghaus’ heritage, the Storm Jacket returns in a nostalgic colourway that closely resembles the brand’s logo: blue, red and black.

Additionally, the Storm Jacket will be released alongside an articulated cargo pant in two colourways, and the Storm Crew Sweater will feature the same mesh pocket as the OG Storm Jacket.
