GANRYU is closing down after this spring summer season

GANRYU is reportedly closing down after this spring summer season. The news comes from HAVEN and UNKNWN but an official statement from COMME des GARÇONS is yet to come. A representative have confirmed that Fumito Ganryu have left the company. Fumito launched the label in 2008 under the COMME des GARÇONS umbrella after being Junya Watanabe's patern maker for some time and the label have been putting out forward thinking casual wear with a unique twist since it's inception. 

No words yet on what Fumito Ganryu will be doing next but let's hope he haven't left the fashion industry for good.
