CASEY CASEY and Graphpaper Create a Timeless Five-Piece Apparel Capsule
Coming together to celebrate 10 years of Graphpaper Aoyama, CASEY CASEY has created an exclusive capsule to mark the occasion, creating five pieces of apparel.
Relying on the manipulation of fabric and colour to achieve distinctive silhouettes and textures, CASEY CASEY constructed the pieces using coated canvas in varying material compositions, paper cotton, and paper taffeta. As a result, seemingly ordinary shirting, outerwear, and legwear silhouettes are thrust into a world of their own while retaining a timeless aesthetic and a Graphpaper-esque sensibility only achieved through over-washing, distorting and manhandling the garments. Aside from the obvious visual and textural cues of the pieces, they adopt roomy cuts and drape effortlessly over the body, elevating them beyond their traditional styling.
To accompany the release of the apparel capsule, an exclusive journal created by Galeth Casey, the designer of CASEY CASEY, will be distributed to those who make a purchase.
