AES and WISDOM Join Forces for a Capsule of Mountaineering Garments
Taiwanese label WISDOM, housed by the walls of White Rock Store, is set to collaborate with the talented folks at AES — short for Alien Evolution Studio. In celebration of the latter’s 10th anniversary, the duo is launching an expansive capsule of mountaineering garments and graphic-heavy basics under the namesake of AESDOM.
Though surely not just a fusion of both brands’ monikers, the range is a melting pot of both their ideals, adding in a sense of street into the often nonconforming styles of urban exploration. While utilitarian accents are aplenty, the starring pieces are surely far from ordinary. Tees and colorblocked hoodies showcase interesting prints with cobranded logo hits, though the outerwear opts for a more subtle framing. BDU jackets find themselves dressed in black wool, adorned with some overstated lapels found usually on smart-leaning blazers. Starring in two color variants — one a grey with burnt orange, the other a pairing of black and a rich blue — the Mountain Jacket reveals some fitting embellishments, featuring hanging straps across its oversized pockets found on both its front and rear.
