adidas teams up with BAPE, NEIGHBORHOOD and White Mountaineering for its "Victory collection"
adidas linked up with A BATHING APE®, NEIGHBORHOOD, and White Mountaineering to release a collaborative football collection in preparation for the upcoming 2018 World Cup in Russia. The collaboration includes the three brands' take on Japan's away kit design and the classic Samba shoe.
Each football kit stays true to Japan's away kit with a block design on the left shoulder, but the kit's color varies for each company: red/white for BAPE, black/neon green for NEIGHBORHOOD, and grey/white for White Mountaineering. Additionally, the kits feature each company's logo as an emblem in place of the Japan Football Association Yatagarasu symbol. The same colorways are translated to the Samba shoe, respectively, with the brand's logo featured on the insole.
The collection is set to release on May 30th via the adidas online store as well as through selected retailers.
