TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. kicks off Paris Fashion Week with a black and blue-dominated punk Autumn/Winter ‘19 collection.
The eponymous label of Takahiro Miyashita presents a futuristic, techwear-infused runway collection highlighted by modular, strap-heavy coats and parkas. Sleeves are loosened with zips at both the shoulder seam and the elbows, and military elements such as MOLLE webbing are incorporated into the vest-like portions of the tops. A punk vibe is showcased with “I LIVE NOW” roughly painted on back panels and patches of poetic diary texts placed on tops and bottoms. Takahiro Miyashita also reveals a new, minimal footwear model characterized by an oversized toe box and military-like construction.
