blurhms Spring/Summer '20
Despite having two separate collections for the men and women, Japanese label blurhms makes a statement through the interchangeable nature of their garments by styling both collections with similar, if not the same garments, in its men’s and women’s Spring/Summer ‘20 lookbook.
blurhms portrays relaxed silhouettes ready for everyday wear through the use of multiple layers and lengthy yet lightweight outerwear pieces. Military themes are incorporated into olive knee-length collared coats with large storage pockets and layered with contemporary robe mid-layer pieces and crewneck sweaters. Additionally, their minimal Earth-tone aesthetic is contrasted by the use of a few graphic pieces featuring green and white floral designs patterned across matching button-ups and trousers for men and Summer-ready dresses for women. Though slightly heavier for the warmer weathers, blurhms opts for raw denim as the fabric for wide-fitting jackets and jeans.
