nonnative's latest collaboration with Converse reworks the Pro-Leather Hi model
Back in 2016, nonnative teamed up with Converse to release a suede upper version of the Pro-Leather Hi model and now the two brands have linked up once again for another take on the same silhouette.
Converse’s Pro-Leather model is well-regarded in basketball history, known for being endorsed by superstar Julius Erving, or “Dr. J”. The latest iteration features a premium, smooth suede upper as opposed to the long grain monkey suede utilized in the last release. Coming in a navy and a gray colorway, the silhouette includes a military-inspired removable zip front tongue and nonnative’s signature features such as the side woven laces to hold the removable tongue as well as the overhanging lace tips.
The collaboration will release exclusively at COVERCHORD’s online shop and select retail stores on February 16.
