HAMCUS previews its Autumn/Winter '19 collection with a new editorial
HAMCUS returns for AW19 with pure utilitarian whimsy, crafting a set piece of tonal outerwear that accentuate common trends in every aspect.
Shot in Belgium along a seemingly barren beach landscape, the entire editorial captures the essence of a nomadic lifestyle in both color and fit. Protective down outerwear alongside elongated turtleneck half-zips as well as a starring mouth-shrouded parkas complete an aesthetic refined gradually throughout the label’s constantly expanding universe. Trousers match with diligence while the contrasting black variants call attention to themselves with reckless abandon. Utility vests as well as a deconstructed track jacket amaze even in its most minute details, finishing their construction with magnetic Fidlock closures and frayed edges, respectively.
So as not to make light of the meticulous work done by photographers Tatjana Henderieckx and Eileen Vancraenenbroeck as well as models Exaucer Ntela Simão and Garnett Chambers, check out the full set of imagery below.
