BAL Autumn/Winter '19

BAL Autumn/Winter '19

BAL continues where they left off for AW19, bringing back its theme of “Chance Operation" for a vast expanse of utilitarian set pieces, reworked military ensembles, and evocative takes on some trending styles.

Pockets are in no scarcity here with many a piece featuring almost excessively adorned compartments along their varying constructions. Down Parkas, shearling accented bombers, and plaid wool overcoats — in their bolder, vintage-inspired hues — opt for size instead of number while utility vests and accompanying ski parkas follow the latter execution with abandon. Bold color blocking hits extend onto even the technical blousons and various large lapel blazers, mixing in sportswear aesthetics to pieces of far off inspiration. Trousers follow suit, swapping in and out from refined patterned slacks to performance trousers of either nature-esque mosaics, cheetah prints, or grid camo.
