HAVEN Spring/Summer '19 Editorial Highlights Delivery 2
Spring/Summer ‘19 continues to see HAVEN develop their in-house brand, in which they take a functional approach to design with re-imagined workwear, military and outdoor silhouettes.
HAVEN’s first delivery for the season saw them release their ‘Flak Bomber Jacket’ and ‘Tactical Jacket’, both pieces inspired by garments from the Vietnam war-era. However, this time around - for delivery number two - we see them re-working a broader range of pieces. The standout piece is the ‘Combat Jacket’, which is largely inspired by the Canadian Military OG 107 Combat Coat, introduced in the 1960’s. The jacket is constructed using sulphur dyed cotton and has undergone a vintage washing process that gives a worn-in and rugged appearance. This is accompanied by the Short-sleeved ‘Recon’ shirt - a utilitarian outdoors garment - made from a COOLMAX® polyester and cotton blend; a soft and lightweight material that grooves moisture away, keeping you cool and dry. These pieces demonstrate that HAVEN’s in-house offering continues to go from strength to strength.
