N.HOOLYWOOD Spring/Summer '20
Daisuke Obana’s label N.HOOLYWOOD debuted its Spring/Summer 2020 collection at New York Fashion Week.
Since his most recent visit to London, Daisuke was influenced by iconic shops in Savile Row, vintage military shops and Vivienne Westwood’s punk store Worlds End. Additionally, N.HOOLYWOOD’s latest collection was supported by Jun Takahashi and his archive of red plaid fabrics. These fabrics were utilized to craft Scotland and England-inspired blazers, oversized shirts, kilts, and trousers. However, N.HOOLYWOOD’s charm arises from its effortless mixing of these louder pieces with toned-down, functional vests and multi-pocketed jackets. Even a punk and military elements lies within the collection as seen by olive jackets with removable sleeves and pill graphic bomber jackets.
