White Mountaineering’s offerings stretch further away from gender exclusivity in SS20, with the strength of their core menswear line translating to an upcoming feminine set. Pieces either shroud silhouette or intimately reveal, diversifying a range that perfectly mixes distinctly unique design ideals.
This, however, in no way obstructs with much of the enduring fabrications acting as a baseline for the garments that may lie outside of their preconceived comfort zone. Parkas, with contrast paneling, as well as tropical printed ponchos are just some connecting factors while simplistic basics and shirting ease the mind into the more adventurous. Though sometimes quiet in their color, tops are loud in their cut: few tops — in varying forms of striping — are styled as kimonos in their asymmetric design, jumpsuits equip with BDU pocket arrangements and flared three quarter sleeves, and even skirts segment into contrast swatches of fabric in progressively widening hems. Striped tees, open back blouses, technical sandals, wide cut pants, and more militaristic blousons all come together to complete a collection wealthy in its diversity.
