Having earned their stripes as a patternmaker at Comme des Garçons, Hidenori Kumakiri went on to found beautiful people in 2007, driven by an innate desire to create beauty by subverting the ordinary.
For Autumn/Winter ‘25, beautiful people approach the season with the usual breadth, producing an array of outerwear, knitwear, legwear, footwear, shirting, tops, and more across menswear and womenswear. Familiar silhouettes like a leather rider’s jacket, a chunky turtleneck jumper, and overwashed denim appear alongside seasonal additions, such as a thrashed ombre knit, a military-inspired liner jacket slash hooded parka hybrid, and a red hunter’s jacket, erring on the side of rave-inspired, with a dressage of frontal pockets and a signature corduroy collar.
