I Spring/Summer '20

Whereas the technical sub-genre is often associated with busy GORE-TEX outerwear or intricate cargo pockets, Japanese label I brings up a distinct point of view worth discussion. Though each piece is still outfitted with fabrics enduring and equally as waterproof, the styles themselves lean much closer to the side of minimalism.

Spring/Summer ‘20 is simply a continuation of these very themes in a package much more lightweight in relation to their previous collection. Trenches take on an almost linen-like fabrication in its flow, featuring a mostly barebones construction with pockets blending in relative to their backdrop. Utility parkas do much of the same, though in a slightly thicker shell, while opting for two embedded pockets along the center chest as well. The following grey-tinged garments -- which seems to be intentional choice of palette next to monochrome offerings aplenty -- head the rest of the various categories, cooling down soft sweatshirts, one pocket short-sleeve shirting, and more traditional oxford button-downs. Elsewhere, collarless tops take on dark navy in a characteristic sign of the warmer months ahead with much more variety fleshing out by way of vests, anoraks, back-pocketed tops, compartment slings, and much more.

Grab a detailed look at the collection here and expect to see everything arriving very soon.
