IISE Presents Their Essentials Line for A/W ‘20

Korean label IISE opts to democratize their heritage-based designs, attention to detail, and high quality, home-grown fabrics as they introduce their Essential Line for the Autumn/Winter ‘20 season.

Known for infusing South Korean cultural elements into fashion, brothers and founders Kevin and Terence Kim offer a range of everyday garments that are anything from basic. The Essential Li r, which heavily emphasizes materials and fits and seen by its minimalist nature, features tees, sweat sets, headwear, and bags coming in black, white, navy, charcoal, and green colorways. Each piece either displays a take on IISE’s text based or graphic logo, embroidered front and center to just subtly grab the viewer’s attention. However, the most impressive component of the Essential Line is the fabric itself, developed from 100% organic cotton developed in partnership with a local Korean manufacturer. Certified by GOTS, also known as Global Organic Textile Standards, the cotton is both eco-friendly due to its lack of pesticides and insecticides which in turns allows water to be safely disposed. Furthermore, the manufacturer utilizes sustainable dye and techniques, emphasizing their respect to their environment.

The collection is set to release tomorrow, Nov. 10 at their online shop.
