nonnative x New Balance Fresh Foam Hierro M 'Mole' Autumn/Winter ‘20

No stranger to collaboration, nonnative and New Balance has once again teamed up to deliver a unique take on the Fresh Foam M Hierro ‘Mole’ silhouette.

The last few months for New Balance has been relentless in terms of collaborative work, especially with the likes of FDMTL, Snow Peak and, now, nonnative. The Fresh Foam Hierro is a trail silhouette from New Balance that possesses over 50 years of expertise on the trails, combining this with modern technologies that aid traction and weatherproofing. The aforementioned pair has produced a slightly more advanced model of the Fresh Foam Hierro. The trail runner utilises a lightweight nylon mesh upper and a ‘monosock’ structure which integrates the tongue and into one to allow for easier access. In addition, the Hierro ‘Mole’ incorporates New Balance’s FreshFoamX technology which improves stability and shock absorption whether you’re traversing technical trails or the urban environment; this is complemented by a Vibram-clad MegaGrip sole that drastically ensures outstanding grip, durability and traction on rough surfaces. As noted on the sidewall and insole, this model uses GORE-TEX technology to increase breathability, waterproofness and windproofing; it’s a storm-clad trainer that functions as efficiently on and off the trails. The essence of nonnative is clear throughout from custom-branded insoles to the earth-toned ‘Mole’ colourway that is indicative of their garments.

The collaborative shoe is set to release on 21st November exclusively via COVERCHORD, vendor and BEAUTY&YOUTH, and select New Balance locations.
