HAVEN and Engineered Garments Join Forces for Their ‘CASCADIA’ Collection

Canada-based design studio and retail store HAVEN have teamed up with Daiki Suzuki and the Engineered Garments team for a capsule collection inspired by Cascadia, a bioregion in the Pacific Northwest of both Canada and the United States.

Taking cues from both Canadian and US military elements and Engineered Garment’s asymmetrical take on garments, the three piece capsule collection includes a BDU jacket, cargo pants, and a heavy-duty parka. The Cascadia Jacket features four large cargo pockets, a semi-concealed placket, asymmetrical elbow reinforcement and a drawstring hem. The Cascadia Pants combine the US M-65 and Canadian Military MK2 pant comes in a Stotz EtaProof ripstop construction for water repellant properties while staying breathable. Similarly, the Pants come with an asymmetric pocket configuration and drawstring hems for versatility. Lastly is their collaborative take on the Pacific Parka, which is hand knit in Canada. The unique panelling theme is featured on the hooded jacket with contrasting cowhide leather and suede elbow patches and leather accessories on the zipper.

The CASCADIA Collection is set to release at HAVEN’s online shop on December 19th with availability also at Nepenthes New York, Nepenthes London and Engineered Garments Tokyo.
