WACKO MARIA Spring/Summer '20

Never shy about its bold and expressive designs, WACKO MARIA presents its latest Spring/Summer ‘20 collection filled with music and film references expressed through colorful patterns and figures on quality crafted garments.

Eastern Asian influences remain a staple in WACKO MARIA’s design as leopard print track suits, tiger graphic Hawaiian shirts, and python patterned heavy weight mountain parkas capture their DNA. Yet, the Japanese label finds inspiration from Western influences as they collaborate with major bands such as Rage Against the Machine and Sublime. The band’s logos, album arts, and inspired graphics are printed haphazardly onto Hawaiian shirts alongside art from the late great Jean-Michel Basquiat. Garments featuring Bob Marley images continue to celebrate Marley’s life and legacy carried on by the Tuff Gong record label and recording studio. Alongside the various collaboration items, WACKO MARIA staples include jacquard sweaters, full suit sets, leather Western jackets, and zip up jackets.

Keep an eye out for the collection’s release at their Paradise Tokyo retail store and online shop.
