MAPLE and ELHAUS Deliver Playful, Graphic-Filled Summer Pieces
Canadian-based premium accessory maker MAPLE goes international as they join forces with Indonesian label ELHAUS for a three-piece capsule consisting of a disco-themed Hawaiian shirt and a silver 925 whistle pendant.
ELHAUS leads the way with two 100% lyocell shirts showcasing exquisite graphics by Indonesian artist Dwiky Ka. The bold graphics pay homage to historical characters with cartoon caricatures of model Grace Jones, artist Keith Haring, singer Madonna, Nicky Siano and many others. Continuing with a theme of comic-styled panels, Dwiky incorporates text such as “It’s the trip that keeps us alive’ and “birds don’t fly this high”. In addition to the clothing, MAPLE contributes a unique Silver 925 whistle pendant in the form of a black or green suede necklace. The working whistle features the two-labels logos reimagined in the style of the Paradise Garage logo on the whistle’s side faces while following suit with “It’s the trip that keeps us alive” slogan on the front.
